Program Description
We will partner with other community based organizations, bi-partisan groups, and area school districts to conduct a series of youth-led policy awareness workshops and policy forums around the country designed to include the recruitment of peer to peer youth engagement in the social-political process. We want the next generation to continue to move the wheels of progress forward to create incremental, systemic and institutional change. By providing a space for young people of all races and socio-economic backgrounds to express their concerns and collaborate to promote awareness over shared key issues all while embracing and celebrating our differences by forming together to make a collective impact through strategic planning.
It is impossible to struggle for civil rights, equal rights for blacks, without including whites. Because equal rights, fair play, justice are all like the air: we all have it, or none of us has it. That’s the truth of it.
