On May 20th, we came together for a special celebration at Barnett on Washington to honor what would have been Michael O.D. Brown’s 28th birthday. For the first time since his passing, Lezley McSpadden-Head chose to publicly celebrate this day, focusing on the life and legacy of her son.
The evening was marked by the release of 28 doves, symbolizing Mike’s life and the impact he continues to have. Attendees also experienced the unveiling of a poignant art installation by 1-800 Happy Birthday, allowing loved ones to listen to and leave voicemails in Mike’s honor.
Thank you to everyone who came out. We deeply appreciate your support and solidarity.
